For the past 7 years, I have been making knives. I started out filing the bevels by hand and heat-treating with a brazing torch. A lot of the process has changed over the last 7 years, bringing in more precise technology and a better way of making the knives. But the same passion that would drive a man to file a bevel for 7 hours by hand is still there. Every one of my knives is made one at a time, by hand, by me. I pore over the knives during every step of the process and handle the knife you order for hours. There are many ways to automate and speed up the process, but that is not what interests me. For me it's not about mass producing a large number of blades, I care about making a great knife by hand.
